So Gene, the writer of this very webcomic, has started his own animated webcomic, and it’s live as of today! He writes, draws, and animates it himself (with the help of a rag-tag crew of co-writers) and it is starts off with a half-robot guy with a pompadour getting punched into the side of a building. We hit 200 pages today, isn’t that amazing? After only a year and a half! In other news, we’re going to be at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle at the end of this month! We’ll have the second volume for sale, as well as other goodies (such as shirts, posters, pins and original art). I’ll have more info for you all when it gets closer to the con. The second volume will also be on sale online soon, so stay tuned for more information on that. Gene and I are super proud of how this book is turning out, and we’re excited to be able to put it in your hands!

So I guess you’ve noticed the lack of updates, right? We’ve taken a short holiday hiatus (and I’ve also gotten a sick full-time job, so no more drawing comics all day. Missed updates are unfortunate, but they may happen :T), and we’ve been working very hard on finishing up Volume 2! It is all very exciting. Once Chapter 10 is over, it’s only five more chapters until the end. I wonder what will happen?

So I noticed a huge spike in readership, just for a few days earlier this week, and was wondering- if you’re a new reader, where did you find out about us? Please indulge my curiosity! And, of course, we get all of these new readers after Thanksgiving festivities distracted me from getting a new page up :T Sorry about that, dudes.

I feel like I make posts like this far too often, but sorry for the missing updates as of late! Gene and I have been adventuring in our home town, which has been a surprisingly busy trip. I’m working on the next page as we speak, and we’ll be back to regular updates sooner than you’ll know it!

We’re having some issues over here at Galacticat HQ, mostly regarding tablet functionality. We’ve already missed one update and I’m doing my very best to get everything up and running again so that we don’t get too behind! Sorry for being such a huge jerk, guys.
